Howard J Entin, M.D, is the Medical Director and founder of Colorado PsychCare. He has an undergraduate degree in mathematics from Cornell University and a medical degree from the College of Medicine in New Jersey. He is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, trained at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and has over 35 years of clinical experience. As a Psychiatrist, he can both assess and prescribe psychiatric medications, understands medical conditions and can work with patients through counseling and psychotherapy.

Dr. Entin has a special interest in mood disorders including treatment of Depression and Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Adjustment Disorders. He also has extensive experience with Chronic Pain management, Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) and Substance Abuse. He can also offer legal consultations for Independent Medical Exams, Second Opinions and Disability Evaluations. He works with individuals, couples and families.

Emma Olson is a Physician Assistant who has prescriptive authority and is Board Certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. She completed her undergraduate degrees in Physiology and Psychology at University of Wyoming. She then received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Butler University.  

Since graduating she has been practicing in Primary Care and Psychiatry specialties. Emma can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for a variety of psychiatric conditions, including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, PTSD, and ADD/ADHD.

Physician Assistant

Missy is a Physician Assistant who has prescriptive authority and is Board Certified by the National Commission on the certification of Physician Assistants. She has been working in Internal Medicine/Family Practice for the past 14 years. She has a special interest and is familiar with the treatment of all psychiatric diagnoses, including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder.

Missy received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Colorado College and her Physician Assistant degree from Touro College, School of Medicine, Physician Assistant Program, graduating cum laude of her class.

Agnes is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She completed her undergraduate studies in Clinical Laboratory Sciences and pursued her clinical medical degree shortly after. She received her Master’s in Medical Sciences from St. Francis University and a certificate of completion of her PA degree from Red Rocks Community College. Her background includes family medicine, urgent care, women’s health, allergy/immunology, and psychiatry. Her professional interest involves women’s health and addiction medicine. She believes in an individual and collaborative approach to every treatment and enjoys learning about every patient’s journey. Agnes spends her free time hiking, camping, and biking with her family in the mountains. She loves crocheting, cooking, and reading. Her passion is mountaineering.

Kerri Langer, M.D. is a Board Certified Psychiatrist who treats older adolescents and adults of all ages. She received her undergraduate degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Dartmouth College and her Medical Degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She also attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine for her Psychiatric Residency.

As a physician, Dr. Langer has a wide understanding of medical issues and medications. She is also a trained psychotherapist. She applies her knowledge of both these fields when treating patients.

Dr. Langer treats all psychiatric diagnoses including Bipolar Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety Disorders, such as OCD, Panic, PTSD, Social Phobia, and Generalized Anxiety. She has a special interest in Women’s Mental Health, including the treatment of women struggling with Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety, pregnancy related issues, postpartum depression, infertility, work-life balance, menopause and times of transition. Dr. Langer works with individuals, couples, and families.

Alison is a Physician Assistant and is Board Certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. She received a Physician Assistant Certificate from Red Rocks Community College and a Master of Medical Science from Saint Francis University. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Denver.

Alison can diagnose, treat and prescribe medications for all psychiatric diagnoses, including Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, and Depression.

Licensed Psychotherapist

Merle Stevens is a Licensed Psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience including Psychiatric inpatient and outpatient clinics. Merle received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Rhetoric from Temple University in Philadelphia. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from University of Colorado and interned in the Psychiatric Division of Wardenburg Student Health Center at the University of Colorado campus in Boulder, CO. She is certified in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.

 

Merle has a special interest in the mind-body connection. In her practice she combines Cognitive-Behavioral psychotherapy and Stress Management skills to provide patients with practical tools and strategies to strengthen coping and better manage emotional symptoms including anxiety (performance, social & generalized), panic attacks, depression, excessive worry and anger. She has experience working with psychiatric problems including Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, panic attacks, PTSD, life transitions, and chronic pain.

 

Merle works with adults, individuals and couples. In addition, she incorporates relaxation, Biofeedback skills, meditation and a variety of mind quieting techniques to increase clarity and reduce stress while exploring and working through stressful life issues. Therapy is solution focused while moving forward toward desired goals.
